Planning your blood tests at Adhiraj Imaging
Use your prescription to confirm the correct tests, preparation, collection arrangement and report time. Different blood tests have different requirements; a single fasting rule does not fit every investigation.

Before giving a sample
Ask whether fasting is needed for your particular test and for how long. Tell the team about medicines and relevant treatment; do not stop prescribed medicines on your own. Bring the prescription and previous results if comparison has been requested.
If several tests are requested, confirm whether they can be collected together and whether any test needs a specific collection time.

Report times depend on the selected blood tests. The approximate four-hour statement for many imaging scans should not be applied to all laboratory tests. Confirm each result’s expected timing and how it will be delivered.
After receiving results
Review results with your treating clinician. A result outside the reference interval is not a diagnosis by itself, and normal values do not rule out every illness. Ask your doctor whether any follow-up is needed.
