Common ultrasound enquiries
Pregnancy ultrasound
Bring the prescription and previous pregnancy reports. The appropriate scan and timing should be determined by the treating clinician.
Fetal Echo
A detailed examination of the fetal heart when prescribed. Arrange it at the time advised by your clinician; no single timing rule applies to every patient.
Color Doppler
Confirm the body area and vascular study requested. Doppler examinations are not all interchangeable.
Before the appointment
- Ask for study-specific preparation rather than following a general fasting rule.
- Bring the prescription and relevant previous scans or reports.
- Ask about the available radiologist and any privacy or support needs when booking.
- Confirm the price and report time for your examination.
Radiology team
The centre’s radiologists include Dr Saloni Jain, MD (Radiodiagnosis), and Dr Samta Parteki, MD (Radiodiagnosis). Confirm individual availability for your appointment. Ask the team which examination and appointment arrangement fits your prescription.
