PET CT in Delhi: a booking guide for patients from other states
Adhiraj Imaging welcomes patients travelling to Delhi for a doctor-prescribed PET CT at its Dilshad Garden centre, opposite IHBAS Hospital Gate No. 3. What should I confirm before travelling?
- The prescribed study: give the team the exact test and tracer name on your prescription. Ask how to share relevant documents securely. FDG, PSMA and DOTA studies are not interchangeable.
- The appointment: confirm tracer availability, your appointment date and when you should arrive. A booking enquiry is not a confirmed scan slot.
- Personal preparation: ask for instructions for your prescribed tracer and medical history, including diabetes or medicines. Do not change treatment on your own.
- A complete quotation: PET CT starting prices are published from ₹8,000. This is not a quotation for every tracer or study. Ask what your price includes and whether any additional test, contrast or study is required.
- The reporting plan: confirm when the report and images will be available and how to receive them. The approximately four-hour timing stated for most other scans does not apply to PET CT.
- Your onward plans: ask how much time to allow at the centre before arranging a return journey or a follow-up consultation.
What should I bring?
Ask the team which records are needed for your appointment. These commonly include your prescription, previous scan reports and images, relevant pathology or biopsy reports, current treatment and medicine details, and identification if requested. Bring any preparation or booking instructions you have received.
Where will the scan take place?
Adhiraj Imaging, A-76, Ground Floor, Tahirpur Road, opposite IHBAS Hospital Gate No. 3, Dilshad Garden, Delhi 110095. This is the East Delhi centre. Open the exact centre on Google Maps. Confirm the route with the team; travel time depends on your starting point and traffic.
Can I come on Sunday?
The centre is open every day, 8 AM–8 PM, including Sunday. PET CT still requires advance appointment and tracer confirmation. Opening hours do not mean every study is available at any time.
Does the centre arrange transport, accommodation or hospital appointments?
This guide does not include transport, accommodation, hospital appointments or insurance/panel approval. Please arrange these separately and confirm any requirements with the relevant provider. Adhiraj Imaging is independent of the hospitals where patients may receive treatment.
Is home sample collection available in another state?
Home sample collection is a separate local service within approximately 5 km of the Dilshad Garden centre, subject to address confirmation. Patients from other states travel to the centre for their confirmed PET CT appointment.
