Price guidance
What affects the PET CT charge?
An accurate quote depends on the examination your treating clinician has requested. We do not publish a single starting price that may omit part of a study.
Contrast or additional CT
Some prescriptions may request contrast or additional CT imaging. Ask if this changes the quoted charge.
Clinical question
PET CT is often prescribed for cancer staging, treatment-response assessment or follow-up. The treating doctor selects the appropriate study.
Appointment and reporting
Tracer scheduling and report review affect availability. Confirm the slot and expected report time at booking.
Before PET CT
What to tell our team
- Share your prescription and relevant earlier scans and treatment records.
- Tell us about diabetes, pregnancy, breastfeeding, medicines and recent treatment.
- Ask for study-specific fasting and hydration instructions; these depend on the tracer.
- Confirm the total price, appointment and expected time at the centre.
Complete quotation
Ask whether the quoted amount includes the prescribed tracer, any contrast, reporting and all required imaging. PET CT reports take longer than the approximately four-hour timing for most other scans. Confirm the expected report time when booking.
